Gorgona Medusa it the one of the most famous Gorgons, who were the daughters of the god of the sea, with snakes on their heads instead of hair, and lived on an island in the far ocean far from the lands inhabited by mortals, after turning them into terrible monsters by Athena. But she was not born as we used to imagine her, but a beautiful virgin.
