Two kneeling cherubim face one another above an ornate chest in this solid oak relief inspired by the Ark of the Covenant. Their bowed heads and inward-facing poses create a quiet, balanced composition, while raised wings curve upward to form a pointed canopy.


Layered feathers follow the outer silhouette, framing the figures from their shoulders to the highest point of the sculpture. Flowing robes gather around their knees, adding soft folds beneath the structured pattern of the wings.
